Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
Now is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its most significant advancement is an obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste most other robots can't avoid (and often go through). It's the first robot to provide you with images of objects that it encounters, so that you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills effortlessly leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't clean in areas you don't want. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.
The design is also more appealing than the other models. It has an elegant, top piece that resembles an toy, not the loud and annoying robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ quickly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one spot rather than sending it scattering all over the floor. It was able to collect small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a bit of grit. Most robots could not do this. And all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.
The j7+, although not as intelligent as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who need both mopping and vacuum. It's not expensive and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to determine whether they're working until you see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the best choice. These robots come with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're costly at retail, but they often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock makes some of our favorite robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't fail to impress. This is the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. While it may not come with some of the expensive features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories), it's still an excellent choice for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.
The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it a great option for homes with many furniture pieces. It is also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few missed corners and along walls.
The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by just a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barrier and no-go areas, alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.
If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed emptying the bin is done without difficulty. It also has an impressive LCD display which is great to have when you're setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't a necessary feature for the majority of people but it can assist you in keeping track of the maintenance intervals for your robot with ease.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are some of the most advanced available however it's expensive.
It's a tiny base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's main selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot charged and clean.
Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive, too. It's the only robovac that I've tried that does a good job picking up the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly in the area of navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a dock that can create a clean zone for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who need a robot vacuum that does everything.
If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are other options available. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers a similar in-app experience with more features like stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
eufy, an Anker company is a long-standing leader of producing robot vacuums that strike the right balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of hard and carpeted flooring, and mopping functions for a low cost. It's easy to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn on and plug in the charging dock. The app takes you through the steps needed to connect to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be located near an outlet with enough space to move.
The G30 is a tiny device that measures 2.85 inches in height, so it can be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious in comparison to other models. It has a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.
The most important aspect that sets the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects it encounters and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and where it can't access. If smart robot requires a recharge, it returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it began.
The elegant G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, offers similar battery life and is more effective on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It has a bigger dust bin, which does not require the same amount of emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with heavy materials like cereal.
